Without well trained, equipped and capable emergency response team casualties are left untreated until MES rescuers or ambulances arrive. An internal response team can provide rapid victim care rather than losing valuable time waiting for external assistance. Rapid response to an ill or injured employee decreases the likelihood of the victim getting worse, which can lead to greater employer medical costs and lost productivity.
